Artesian stains are a penetrating water based stain that produce unique color effects in finished cementitious surfaces that simulate the natural shadings and aged appearance of stone and other masonry materials
The color produced is unique to each stained surface and cannot be easily duplicated with other materials
Retsina stains contain no acid or other harmful chemicals and works as an alternative to acid stains
May be applied to any properly prepared verticals or horizontal concrete surface, cement based overlays, some masonry surfaces, artificial rock,water features, themed finishes, or pre cast concrete surfaces
Make sure surface is thoroughly cleaned and profiled before using the stain
Sample areas are suggested before use
Nothing should block the porosity of the host surface
Dirty or contaminated surfaces may prevent adequate penetration of artesian stain and limit color results as well as cause problems with sealer adhesion
